In terms of exterior design, the ID. UNYX 08 introduces a fresh design language for Volkswagen’s electric lineup. The front fascia features a sophisticated split-headlight design, with the upper LED unit housing over 400 independently controllable pixels capable of customizable dynamic lighting effects. The vehicle’s profile is defined by a 1.5-meter-long hood and a sleek, floating roofline, complemented by 21-inch “Extreme Blade” wheels inspired by classic football aesthetics. Measuring 5000/1954/1672mm with a 3030mm wheelbase, the SUV offers a commanding presence.
Inside, the cabin emphasizes minimalist luxury, featuring a wrap-around cockpit design and ambient lighting. The dashboard is anchored by a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and dual 15-inch 2.4K displays powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip. The interior is finished with 95% soft-touch materials and offers premium options like Nappa leather. Technologically, the ID. UNYX 08 is a powerhouse. It utilizes a VLA end-to-end large model for its L2+ assisted driving system, supporting both highway and urban NOA (Navigate on Autopilot). Built on an 800V silicon carbide platform, the ID. UNYX 08 is available in single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive configurations. The top-tier dual-motor version delivers a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 4.9 seconds. Equipped with CATL lithium iron phosphate batteries (up to 95kWh), the vehicle achieves a maximum CLTC range of 730km. Its 800V architecture allows for ultra-fast charging, adding 150km of range in just 5 minutes, with a 10-80% charge taking approximately 20 minutes. The chassis features a double-wishbone front and five-link rear suspension, paired with dual-chamber air suspension and DCC adaptive damping for a refined ride.
