Chery has officially launched the all-new QQ3 EV, a compact pure electric vehicle that blends nostalgic charm with modern intelligence. The car is available in four trim levels with a limited-time pricing strategy ranging from 58,900 to 78,900 RMB (approximately $8,150 to $10,920 USD).
Despite its compact positioning, the QQ3 EV boasts a generous 2,700mm wheelbase and offers a maximum CLTC range of 420km (261 miles). It is packed with advanced features, including the AI Lingxi smart cockpit, the Carmind intelligent system, and the Falcon 500 driver assistance system.
Design-wise, the QQ3 EV adopts a “round and square” aesthetic, featuring a closed front grille and signature Q-shaped LED headlights. The vehicle is available in six vibrant exterior colors and supports a 36-color DIY roof customization. Measuring 4,195/1,811/1,569mm, the car maximizes interior space through a short front and rear overhang design.
Practicality is a highlight, with a 70L smart electric front trunk and a rear cargo capacity that expands from 375L to 1,450L. Inside, the cabin features a 15.6-inch 2.5K display powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, supporting AI-driven interactions and seamless smartphone connectivity.
Safety and performance are equally prioritized. The vehicle is built on a high-strength steel cage structure and features the Falcon 500 intelligent driving system, which utilizes the Horizon J6E chip to support advanced features like automated parking and highway Navigate on Autopilot (NOA). The rear-wheel-drive powertrain offers two motor options (58kW or 90kW) and supports fast charging, capable of reaching 80% capacity in under 16.5 minutes.
As it enters the competitive compact EV market, the Chery QQ3 EV will face off against established rivals like the Geely Xingyuan and BYD Seagull. With its blend of heritage, smart technology, and competitive pricing, Chery aims to reclaim its status as a provider of the quintessential “people’s car” for the new energy era.
