The updated 2026 Chery Tiggo 9 has officially made its debut, showcasing a comprehensive refresh that elevates both its exterior styling and interior technology. Positioned as a mid-size SUV, the new model continues to offer flexible 5-seat and 7-seat configurations to suit various family needs.
On the exterior, the Tiggo 9 features a completely redesigned front fascia. The front grille now sports a refined chrome trim layout, complemented by larger, more aggressive headlights featuring a distinctive dual-L daytime running light signature. The front air intakes have also been enlarged, giving the SUV a more commanding presence on the road.
The side profile remains largely consistent with the outgoing model, though the chrome trim on the front fenders has been subtly adjusted. The vehicle measures 4,853mm in length, 1,930mm in width, and 1,730mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,820mm. It retains the sleek flush door handles and offers a variety of multi-spoke wheel options, ranging from 18 to 20 inches.
At the rear, the full-width taillight assembly has been optimized for a more modern visual impact. The rear bumper, exhaust finishers, and roof spoiler have also received design tweaks to enhance the vehicle’s overall aerodynamic aesthetic.
Inside, the cabin has undergone a significant transformation. The dashboard has been completely redesigned to house a massive dual-screen setup that integrates the infotainment and passenger displays. The steering wheel features a new design, and the gear selector has been moved to a column-mounted shifter, freeing up space in the center console. The air vents have also been updated with a fresh look. Comfort is further enhanced with luxurious diamond-stitched seat upholstery, an upgraded sound system, and a “Queen’s Co-pilot” seat for the front passenger, which now features seat-mounted electric adjustment controls.
Under the hood, the 2026 Tiggo 9 is powered by a 2.0T turbocharged four-cylinder engine (model SQRF4J20C), delivering a robust 261 horsepower (192 kW) and 400 Nm of torque.
