The 2026 Haval H9 has officially launched, bringing significant upgrades in smart interaction, cabin comfort, and off-road performance. The gasoline lineup features three models priced between 199,900 and 229,900 RMB ($27,572 – $31,710), with a limited-time promotional price starting as low as 174,900 RMB ($24,124). The diesel range includes two models priced from 233,900 to 247,900 RMB ($32,262 – $34,193), with promotional pricing starting at 208,900 RMB ($28,814).
On the exterior, the 2026 model comes standard with a full blackout kit, including a darkened front grille, headlight frames, and lower skid plates, giving it a more aggressive and modern presence. The vehicle’s ride height has been increased by 20mm, resulting in a minimum ground clearance of 226mm. This lift improves its off-road geometry significantly, boasting a 32-degree approach angle, a 26-degree departure angle, and a 24-degree breakover angle. It also maintains a non-laden wading depth of 800mm. Lighting performance has also seen a major boost, with low-beam illumination distance increased by 45% and high-beam by 27%.
Inside, the cabin introduces a new “Lava Red” color scheme. The door panels feature soft-touch materials with integrated multi-color LED ambient lighting. Drivers will notice a thicker steering wheel for a more substantial grip. The central infotainment screen has been upgraded from 14.6 inches to a 15.6-inch unit with a 2.5K resolution and 93% P3 cinematic color gamut, offering five distinct display modes.
The system runs on Coffee OS3, supporting seamless smartphone integration, Coffee GPT for AI-driven inquiries, and multi-zone voice interaction. Standard features across the board include a soft-close tailgate, low-speed off-road cruise control, tank turn, and a 540-degree panoramic camera system. The L2 driver assistance suite has also been enhanced with integrated parking assist.
The H9 remains a practical choice with a cargo capacity ranging from 791L to 1,814L with the seats folded. The seats themselves have been optimized for ergonomics, featuring ventilation, heating, and 8-point massage functions. Under the hood, the 2.0T gasoline engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, while the 2.4T diesel engine utilizes a 9-speed automatic. All models come standard with a TOD intelligent four-wheel-drive system, Mlock mechanical locking, and front/rear lockers, along with a 2.5-ton towing capacity.
