On April 19, Geely officially launched the pre-sale for the Xingyue L i-HEV (Zhiqing Hybrid). The new lineup consists of three variants with limited-time pre-sale prices ranging from 141,700 to 155,700 RMB ($19,545 – $21,475). The standard official pre-sale prices are set between 148,700 and 162,700 RMB ($20,510 – $22,440). Early customers can benefit from a 1,000 RMB ($138) deposit that offsets 8,000 RMB ($1,103) of the purchase price, along with financing options and trade-in subsidies of up to 18,000 RMB ($2,483).
The Xingyue L i-HEV is a full hybrid (HEV) SUV powered by Geely’s latest Zhiqing hybrid system, featuring a 1.5TD engine paired with a P1/P3 dual-motor configuration. Compared to traditional Japanese hybrid models, Geely’s system is designed to offer more robust power delivery and superior fuel efficiency.
In terms of exterior design, the Xingyue L i-HEV continues the “Oriental Aesthetics” theme of the current lineup. The front end features a “Silk Road Peaks” grille design, complemented by matrix LED headlights with adaptive high beams and delay-off functionality.
The vehicle’s dimensions are 4,795mm in length, 1,895mm in width, and 1,689mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,845mm. The side profile is characterized by sharp, flowing lines and a prominent waistline, while new low-drag wheels in a grey-silver finish emphasize its hybrid identity.
The rear features a through-type taillight design with integrated chrome accents, creating a sophisticated and grounded look. A unique “Moonlight Silver” exterior color is also introduced specifically for this hybrid model.
Inside, the cabin is finished with high-quality leather and 256-color ambient lighting. The technology suite includes a 25.6-inch full-color HUD, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and dual 14.6-inch high-definition screens. The system runs on Flyme Auto, integrated with the Deepseek large language model and powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip. It supports HiCar, Carlink, and Flymelink connectivity, alongside 50W wireless charging.
For comfort, the driver’s seat includes headrest speakers, 12-way power adjustment, and 8-point massage. The front passenger enjoys a “Queen’s Seat” with an extendable leg rest and massage functions. The rear seats offer 30°-40° electric adjustment and heating, paired with a 16-speaker Flyme Sound system.
The Xingyue L i-HEV is built on the GEEA 3.0 electronic architecture, utilizing a “Central Super Brain” for gigabit-level data transmission and FOTA updates that can be completed in just 5 minutes. The “Qianli Haohan H3” ADAS suite provides 128 TOPS of computing power, supporting HNOA high-speed navigation pilot and advanced automated parking.
Under the hood, the 1.5TD four-cylinder hybrid engine achieves a thermal efficiency of 48.41%. The system delivers a combined maximum power of 230 kW. It accelerates from 0-30 km/h in just 1.84 seconds—18% faster than traditional hybrids—with a power response time of only 10 milliseconds. The 3-speed DHT allows the vehicle to operate in pure electric mode at speeds up to 66 km/h. The official WLTC fuel consumption is rated at a low 4.75L/100km. Additionally, the CCD variable damping suspension improves ride smoothness by 33%.
Unlike plug-in hybrids, the Xingyue L i-HEV offers the convenience of a traditional gasoline car with the efficiency and performance of an EV, making it a highly competitive option in the hybrid SUV market.
