Chery Fulwin T7 Revealed: A Sleek New Look for the Compact SUV Segment

The latest filing images of the Chery Fulwin T7 have surfaced via China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), revealing a significant design evolution for the compact SUV. The new model adopts the latest styling language of the Fulwin family, characterized by a cleaner, more minimalist aesthetic.

Up front, the T7 aligns with the current Chery Fulwin new energy lineup, featuring sleek, elongated headlights and a front bumper that emphasizes a sportier stance.

In profile, the vehicle showcases a streamlined silhouette. Measuring 4,570 mm in length, 1,852 mm in width, and 1,694 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm, the T7 is positioned firmly in the compact SUV segment. The rear design is highlighted by a full-width taillight assembly and a dynamic roof spoiler.

Spy shots of the interior have also emerged, revealing a cabin layout that deviates slightly from current mainstream trends. It features a large, vertically oriented floating infotainment screen while retaining physical buttons—a design choice that feels somewhat retro. This has led to speculation that the T7 might be specifically tailored for international markets. Given that Chery Group exported 570,884 vehicles out of its 853,098 total sales from January to April this year—with exports accounting for two-thirds of its volume—it is highly probable that this model is intended to spearhead the brand’s expansion into Europe.

Under the hood, the Chery Fulwin T7 is powered by a single electric motor producing a maximum output of 178 kW (approximately 242 horsepower). It utilizes a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack supplied by Gotion High-Tech and boasts a top speed of 180 km/h (112 mph).
